Dear CityLight friends,

“However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit…”

1Cor2:9-10

God has great things in store for you, for us, for CityLight church. It’s beyond our imagination & comprehension. Amazingly God doesn’t want to keep us in the dark, but desires to reveal His good intentions to us by His Spirit. Won’t we pause and listen this week?

3) Heather - immediate need of a Slovak visa
4) Patrick, Ben, Erik, others – new employment in the perfect place God has prepared
5) Aki – Salvation for his parents , perseverance in sharing the Gospel
6) Vic + Darla – God’s favor on them as they prepare to move to Kiev. Open doors to get a Ukrainian visa ASAP!
7) Higgins - good travel & time in California (July 19-Aug 13).
8) Erik - extra grace, strength, and helpers as he oversees CityLight services for the next few weeks.

Dear CityLight Family,

“Abraham was looking forward to the city that has foundations. He was waiting for the city that God planned and built… they longed for a better country. They wanted one in heaven.
So God is pleased when they call Him their God. In fact, He has prepared a city for them.”
Heb 11:10, 16

Let us as a church long for that better home, a place established & planned by God. And as we journey like Abram in wild abandonment to the Father, let us be givers of grace and love that overcomes a “hostile and divided” world. Let this be our common prayer this week.
