We just got back from a Birthday BBQ at the Benova home in celebration of Rado S. 30th! Time flies when you are having fun. It’s hard to believe that he is 30 already... I always think of him eternally as 24. But in the words of his mother - “You are now BIG”.Anyways, the usual gang came out for the celebration. And as usual it was tasty (open fire goulash), sweet (tons of Slovak cakes), and silly.
I’m glad that I have gotten to know Rado over the years and can consider him a great friend and brother in Christ. Someone asked me if I discipled him. No, I didn’t. But I’m honored to say that we have walked the spiritual journey together for a long time and have lived out the saying - “iron sharpens iron.” So, I’m looking forward to seeing the new and good things God has prepared for his life as he moves forward in Jesus this year and in the years to come.
