When East meets West and sets up home in the artic North what do you get? Miro & Beena ..and now baby Julian! About a week ago we meet up with the Karpis family at the Bratislava zoo. It was great to be with them again after them being gone in Norway for over a year. We got to know Miro and Beena at the International church in Bratislava & they also were an important part of our home group as well. I have to say that they were some of our favorite people in the church. It was so great to watch them grow in Jesus and see them step out into the good things He has prepared for them to do & be. Aside for the friendship and shared spiritual journey, Beena can cook up some very special (and spicy) Indian dishes! (we loved it!) 
Anyways, it was great to meet up with these special friends. I’m so proud that they are moving forward in the Lord even in Norway! They started up a home group in their town and are seeking to discovery Jesus with others by studying His word. What an encouragement to me! Please keep this young family in your prayers.
